Marc Mossé
Senior Counsel
Marc Mossé brings to the firm's clients his dual experience of the bar and the business world as well as an extensive knowledge of the digital economy legal framework, regulatory issues, and European law.
From 2019 to 2022, he was President of the French Association of In-house lawyers (AFJE).
He has been Director of Legal and Government Affairs at Microsoft Europe for 6 years from 2016 to 2022, and prior to that he has served as Secretary General of Microsoft France for 10 years. Before that, he was the Director of Public and Regulatory Affairs at Philip Morris France. At the beginning of his career as a lawyer, he practiced in the Public and Regulatory Department of our firm, after having been the Parliamentary advisor of Senator Robert Badinter and associate lawyer at the Conseil d'Etat and the Cour de cassation. He is also former 2nd “Secrétaire de la Conférence des Avocats aux Conseils“.
Marc Mossé is an Associate Professor at the University of Aix-Marseille where, within the Institute of Business Law, he teaches the regulation of digital platforms, privacy and cybersecurity law, and intellectual property law. He is a member of the Copyright Council.
He holds a post-graduate degree (DEA) in European Law from the University of Paris I and in Public Law from the University of Paris V.
